Safety & trust

Care begins with knowing who is showing up—and why.

Trust is not a badge on a website. It is a set of careful operating habits repeated for every family.

01

Selection

Before confirming, ask us about the proposed Companion’s experience, selection process and the checks completed for their role.

02

Consent

The parent’s comfort matters. Services are not imposed simply because a family member requests them.

03

Matching

Language, preference, visit purpose, availability and personal comfort inform the proposed match.

04

Scope

Every assignment has a defined purpose. Companions do not take on unapproved financial, clinical or personal-care tasks.

05

Privacy

Only information needed for the assigned support should be shared with the Companion.

06

Escalation

Unexpected issues return to the FamvCare Care Manager and authorized family contact for a decision.

Service boundary

FamvCare is not an emergency, ambulance or clinical-care provider.

For a medical emergency, contact local emergency services or the nearest hospital. FamvCare may help coordinate non-clinical follow-up during operating hours, subject to availability.

Companions do not diagnose, prescribe, administer treatment or replace qualified nursing and personal-care professionals.

A calm first step

Ask us about safety before you book.

A good family-support relationship begins with clear expectations. We welcome practical questions about matching, updates and boundaries.
