The parent’s comfort matters. Services are not imposed simply because a family member requests them.
Language, preference, visit purpose, availability and personal comfort inform the proposed match.
Every assignment has a defined purpose. Companions do not take on unapproved financial, clinical or personal-care tasks.
Only information needed for the assigned support should be shared with the Companion.
Unexpected issues return to the FamvCare Care Manager and authorized family contact for a decision.
Service boundary
For a medical emergency, contact local emergency services or the nearest hospital. FamvCare may help coordinate non-clinical follow-up during operating hours, subject to availability.
Companions do not diagnose, prescribe, administer treatment or replace qualified nursing and personal-care professionals.
A calm first step
A good family-support relationship begins with clear expectations. We welcome practical questions about matching, updates and boundaries.
